It seems we're in the holiday spirit a little earlier than normal. The Saturday after Thanksgiving (anyone else feel like that was a month ago?) at the prodding of Carley, we hung the lights on the house.
Josh and Carley really wanted to help put up the lights. Carley helped make sure the lights were straight. Josh got to hang the last corner.
Today we decorated the Christmas tree. Carley was very surprised when we pulled the tree box from the garage and started pulling out tree parts. She said "this isn't a real tree." We had to talk her through it and finally she accepted that it still was as good as a "real" tree.
The kids had a lot of fun going through all of the ornaments...
...and hanging them on the tree.
It came out beautiful. Fa la la la laaa, la la la la.
