School Carnival

For the first time since Josh has attended school, the PTA put on a Spring Fling Carnival as a fundraiser. This is something I've been looking forward to for years. I remember the carnival when I was a kid; the fishing game and cake walk stand out more than anything. School carnivals seem like a right of passage for elementary school children. I'm so glad that their school finally put one on.

Despite the rain (who would've thought we'd get rain the first of May) it was a big success. The kids loved it. I worked at the nacho booth for two hours (which is why there aren't many pictures) while Walt took Carley around to all the fun games and food. Josh pretty much hung with his friends. I look forward to it again next year.

I loved doing the carnival too! A lot of work and clean up but well worth it. I think it is sweet of Walt to hang with Carley!
