I think of you, my regular readers that I know exist somewhere out in cyber-land. You know who you are. I know who you are, maybe.

I hate that I've slacked on the blog lately. Partly due to lack of fun extras in our life but mostly due to all the routine extras in our life. Life is a busy mess right now.

Josh normally has perfect attendance. Two years in a row (1st and 2nd grade) he had perfect attendance for the entire school year. That won't happen this year. He was home sick with the stomach flu recently. The joys of school-spread germs.

He's started playing basketball again. This year with a new team on a new league. Half of his teammates are in his class at school. He loves it.

Carley has been to the dentist or orthodontist several times over the past two months. One of her front teeth was coming in with a crossbite because the tooth next to it refused to come out early. It even caused an abscess on her gum. The dentist ultimately gave that stubborn tooth a little hand getting out of the way.

The same day she had her tooth pulled, she pulled a somewhat-loose tooth out herself. I think the tooth fairy went broke that night.

Walt's been hunting again. It's that time of year, deer season. He hasn't got a deer yet and wants to so desperately bad. But even if he can't get a deer, these views are still pretty awesome.

Buddy is our personal weather forecaster. If it's hot, he'll lay sprawled out. If it's cold he loves to be under a blanket. As you can see, the mornings have been pretty chilly lately.
