How My Garden Grows. Again.

The garden is growing and growing.

The kids are so impressed that the tomato plants are taller than they are.

We have lots of tomatoes on four of the six plants but none have turned red (or yellow or purple) just yet.

A cucumber seemingly grew overnight. I didn't realize we had a big one until it was time to pick it. It was the juiciest cucumber I've tasted.

We also have a big spaghetti squash growing.

This is what it looked like a couple weeks ago!

All the tomatoes, cucumbers and squash grew faster than the bell pepper plants. So I moved them. I figure they would've died if I left them so I moved them and hopefully they can make their own space.

There are a couple Japanese eggplants taking off too.

These radishes came from our first batch. We have another batch started. They are ready to harvest in about a month's time. (Look how tiny the garden is behind Carley!)

But look at these three radishes. They all came from the same pack of Cherry Belle radish seeds. They were planted and harvested on the same day. Why do they all look so different?

These pictures were taken three weeks apart.

So far, we've been enjoying watching the garden grow. It's fun to play hide and seek with the vegetables. But the best thing of all is picking and eating something we grew ourselves.

Oh My! That is fabulous! and I am so jealous because it has been so cold here my tomatoe plants are about 2 - 3 feet tall and no sets on yet. Ugh. Does it inspire you for next year too?
