This week was pretty low key. The kids and I didn't get out of the house as often as early in the month. One thing we did do, and it took all day, was go visit my friend, Molly, who moved away last Summer. She lives almost two hours from us now and we don't get to see her often.
We spent all day at her house with her mom and sister. They live up in the mountains, miles from the nearest town. It was so quiet and relaxing there. We even took a walk down the road, which was the middle of the road until a car came.
One big hit was the trampoline. The kids rarely get to jump on a trampoline but what kid doesn't love it.

Friday we picked up our second CSA box. This is what was inside it, again with the exception of a few pieces of fruit that didn't make it home.

I haven't thought out what I'm going to make with it yet. I think a tomato and basil salad with some of the basil this time. The pesto that Josh and I made last week turned out fantastic.
By the way, the watermelon is a yellow watermelon. I was shocked when I sliced the one from last week. It was delicious and tastes exactly the same as a red watermelon. Have you ever had a yellow watermelon? That was my first.
