Show and Tell

I was missing one art unit to transfer to Sacramento State so this past semester I took an online Art Design class that used Adobe Illustrator. I felt like sharing.

These two were for a balance project. Symmetrical balance (first) and asymmetrical balance (second).

Here I had to sketch an object from the house, which is the head statue, scan it into the computer, trace it inside Adobe Illustrator and add more details while using various Gestalt techniques we learned.

This was our last project. We had to combine three or more pictures and use the knowledge (Gestalts, balance, etc.) we'd gained through the semester.

This was my favorite project. It was "shape" and we had to create a self-portrait out of type. I used letters, numbers, symbols, lyrics and thoughts on my own life to create this.
