First Day of School

The kids started school this week. They're happy to be back so they can see their friends. They're not happy to be back because of the lack of fun time at home.


Carley just started 2nd grade. It's hard to believe; I still think of her as my baby!


Josh is now in 5th grade! This is the first year his elementary school is K-5th instead of going through 6th grade. Now he's top dog and next year is middle school!


For now we're adjusting to the school nights and mornings. So far, this year seems to be a harder transition moving from summer fun to school days. But we're pushing through. Not much else to do.

By the way, I've slacked on the blog the past couple weeks. We've been extremely busy with squeezing the last bit out of summer vacation. I'll post some goodies soon.
