A Happy Thanksgiving, Indeed

We made the two-hour trek up to Red Bluff for Thanksgiving day to enjoy dinner with my dad and step-mom, Karen.

First stop was the grandparents house. I haven't visited with my Grandma and Grandpa Henderson in probably 5 years. Long overdue.

The kids got to spend Thanksgiving playing with their cousin, Leyton.

Karen's three nieces are about Josh's age so there were even more "cousins". At the dinner table we tried to figure out the technical relation between my kids and the girls but we gave up. The kids started calling each other "3rd cousin". It was good meeting you, third cousin!

{I think I figured it out! They are technically step-1st cousins once removed. Whew.}

I haven't seen Karen's family (her parents and sister) in probably 16 years so it was nice to catch up with them too. We loved chatting with everyone. The house was definitely full of love and thanks yesterday.

I am incredibly thankful for all the love and support that I have in my life from friends and family. Thank you.

Looks like the kids had a good time, but why are there no pictures of you and your dad? Our Thanksgiving was nice and quiet once we got our running water back!
