Graham Cracker Houses

Christmas is almost here! The past three Christmases I was in school and had finals mere days before Christmas day. I am so grateful to be back to normal. My kids are having  a lot more fun because of it.

This year I put together an activity advent calendar for each day of December leading up to Christmas. Josh and Carley look forward to opening an envelope every morning to find out what deed we are doing for the day. I'll post more about that later.

Over the weekend our task was "make gingerbread houses". Carley literally jumped up and down when she read it. 

I only took a few photos with my phone while we were making the houses. The next day, the houses and I had a so-called photo shoot.

I think those graham cracker houses came out pretty cute! We have little neighborhood sitting out for display during the holidays. And then I'm sure they'll be destroyed by a giant, candy-house-eating, girl by the name of Carley.
