Wednesday, August 6th
Saying good-bye was the hardest part. We had so much fun in Washington with all the sight-seeing and family time. Seven days just wasn't long enough. I've already told Dave that I might be staying a month next summer so we have time to grow sick of each other before I hit the road for home.
Alex, Matt and Owen came over Tuesday evening to get in a last visit and hug. Wednesday morning we packed up the car, said good-bye to Grammy who was leaving for work and got in some last play time with Grampy before heading South.

Okay, Josh didn't really get decked out in the motorcycle garb for this little thing but I thought it was cute. He got to take a ride with Grampy Tuesday evening on the real deal. Josh had a ton of fun riding this little Harley in circles around Dave's shop.
This was Carley's preferred "Harley" until she's able to ride a two-wheeler by herself.
